Other than a few greeting card websites, I can find nothing else about this mysterious illustrator... be it an individual, multiple designers, or corporate conglomerate. My assumptions; they are French and they have no internet access. As much as these vivid, simplistic scenes evoke Wisconsin, fermette is a French word meaning farmhouse, or cottage, and each card depicts a variation on that theme of an ethereal slice of countryside. The style is simple, encorporating offset outlines, gradient sunrises, unabashed use of vectors by repetition with slight color variation, and transcendentally calm animals.
