Design on the Road

My morning commute has been more exciting these days, because I'm always keeping a watchful eye on the semi's that pass by. Some of the designs of the trailers are fantastic, and I'd like to share them because I think they are one of those things that can be easily brushed off. Good design is everywhere, I think. So why not pay attention when you see it?

Blue trucks today, only by coincidence...


Werner Trucking has this classic mid-century logo, and my favorite is the huge WERNER on the back in san serifs.

Massive steel train trailers look way cooler with 18 wheels underneath. Super utilitarian.


One of these blew by me just after it snowed, so everything was covered with dirty road muck and layers of salt, but this shimmering rainbow logo could not be dulled.
